I've loved dolphins ever since I can remember, I just instantly fell in love with them when I was little and have been obsessed ever since. So when J Crew came out with this beautiful dolphin bracelet I told Jacob I needed it in order to be a Dolphin Princess (haha, I am 2 years old). Then one magical day (after it went on sale) Jacob said...."Baby, go ahead and order your dolphin bracelet."! Meep! He's the best! And yes the bracelet was everything I hoped, it's perfection.

I have a problem with wanting to wear my chambray shirt with everything. It looks perfect with EVERYTHING....it's kinda nerving. Haha, I have to talk myself out of wearing it sometimes. But it looks so perfect with these shorts I just couldn't resist!

I hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather, I know Jacob and I are! And in a few weeks we are headed down to Gulf Shores, Alabama and then Florida for a few days!! I'm so excited!

So this is the outfit I wore on Monday while out and about with Jacob. Beautiful weather, sun shining, and not a care in the world. But now, with 5 am work days the weather has changed with my mood!! It's cold and rainy and we are expecting snow tomorrow! How much more crazy can this Arkansas weather be?! I need my 80 degree sunny days back!!! Rain or shine though I am super excited to go to my parents this weekend. I can't wait to see my family I miss them so much!

Jacob and I haven't been up to much, just working and planning our adventures for this summer! (Meep!) I can't wait to escape with him and make more amazing and fun memories! We are definitely hitting up the beach and along with that trip we want to take one somewhere totally different, we have some ideas but do y'all have any suggestions?

 

The Great Gatsby.

To say I'm excited about The Great Gatsby movie would be an understatement! I can't wait! I'm so excited I have butterflies! Haha. Not only is it a great book, but the fashion is going to kill it. It's going to be the best thing in movie fashion since Marie Antoinette, especially if these Vogue images represent it in any way (which obviously they do!). 

.....also my favorite actor in the whole world, Leonardo DiCaprio, is playing the mysterious Gatsby (YUM!), and I think the music is amazing and sets the mood perfectly (what I've heard so far!). I love the whole vibe of the movie I love it all, I really hope when I see the movie it meets my expectations!!

From the moment I saw this skirt on the runway I knew I had to get my hands on it someway somehow. I promised myself that if it wasn't outrageously priced (which I was sure it was going to be) it would be mine! And lucky me, it was a reasonable price! (Well in my eyes, Jacob would definitely disagree though, haha). Anyways, I'm obsessed with it, one of the best purchases I've ever made. And I've already worn it multiple times in multiple different ways. This mixing of floral and hounds-tooth is my favorite though!

Well we are about to watch the season finale of Duck Dynasty. I'm kinda in love with this show and Jase, Phil, and Si.

Jacob and I have had the past 3 days off together, and it has been awesome! We have done a lot of thrifting (and have found a lot of great stuff!), eating, and planting lots of flowers! Or back-porch is going to be full of flowers this year. We have a "palm tree" type plant, a fern (which already has a bird nest and eggs in it!), peonies (my favorite), some kind of small yellow flowers, and a tomato plant! And his mom made us 2 other hanging flower plants to hang up. It's going to be a beautiful garden/jungle on our porch. I love it!

I wore this outfit on a day we went thrifting and to Wal-Mart to buy some flowers. It was a little to hot to be wearing this, I didn't expect it to be so warm! So as soon as we got back to house I changed! I hate how in Arkansas you can never wear "spring" clothes it's just straight to shorts....or that's how it feels to me!

I've decided to write more about what is going on in mine and Jacob's life on the blog. But this week is floor-set so I have been getting up at 3:30 (ugh!) to be at work at 5:00 (meh!) and we haven't done much of anything when I get home (and Jacob isn't at work) but watch Game of Thrones (we are now obsessed).

We took these pictures last week while out thrifting (found the most amazing gold, sequin maxi skirt), the weather was beautiful but the wind made it chilly so I threw on my old trusty blazer which I thrifted about 5 years ago (still one of my best finds). And you can never go wrong with a nautical blouse and green pants right!?
